WELCOME TO THE SPRING COMMUNITY

A bit about Bristol Spring

Join the Community >

Bristol Spring brings together business founders, pioneers, entrepreneurs and visionaries united by a shared commitment to pursuing their ambitions while fostering meaningful, faith-driven friendships

This isn’t a place for business pitches or promotional agendas. Instead, we’re a community rooted in Christian faith, where we tackle life’s big questions—both personal and professional—with Christ at the heart.

As an entrepreneur and a Christian, I’ve faced the loneliness and challenges of building businesses. I’ve launched ventures, navigated setbacks, and wrestled with questions like, “How do I stay true to my faith? What does love look like in this decision? Is this aligned with God’s will?” I needed companions to pray with, challenge me, and offer support—and I believe many of you might feel the same.

Friends, Family, Disciples

At Bristol Spring, we aspire to be friends, family and disciples. As a father of three boys my wife and I have always wanted them to be friends, brothers, and disciples. This same thing shapes our Spring community. We’re not just professional contacts; we’re steadfast allies who share networks, celebrate triumphs, and stand together in tough times.

As the Apostle Paul said of Timothy, we aim to prioritise others’ needs above our own, fostering a culture of service, sacrifice, and genuine care. We believe an entrepeneur’s deepest needs are met through sincere, faith-rooted friendships. Friends have each other’s backs. Friends listen and pray for each other. Friends help out. Friends turn up - especially in adversity. We’re a community of Christians friends.

Our goal is to create spaces where you can be yourself, find encouragement, and deepen your faith while navigating the entrepreneurial journey.

These spaces include:

  • First Friday Meet-ups: Held monthly, these bring us together for tea, pastries, and meaningful conversation. They’re perfect for meeting new people and building friendships. Between these, smaller meet-ups—like pub chats or park strolls over a cuppa—keep the connections alive.

  • Springboards: Our “boards you could never afford” are groups of five where you can share challenges, from marketing hurdles to personal struggles like work-life balance. You gain insights from others, broadening your perspective. One group recently set “Kingdom Metrics”—goals reflecting their faith and passion for the Gospel.

  • Going Deeper Evenings - Burger/Pizza and a Pint at the Gloucester Old Spot. These evenings dive into faith, business, and life. With contributors like Andy Street, we’ll explore how to follow Jesus, manage finances, and handle disappointment.

Join Us

If this resonates with you, we warmly invite you to join us. Stay connected via our WhatsApp community, attend a First Friday, or join a Springboard group. We’re not here to sell you anything or overwhelm you with events. Our focus is on building friendships—exchanging numbers, meeting for coffee, and connecting beyond the workplace. Whether you’re a seasoned entrepreneur or just starting out, a lifelong Christian or still exploring faith, you’re welcome here.

Yours
Brad Askew
